Health and Safety

At Tate Partnerships we place Health & Safety at the top of our agenda and it is led and bred into our culture, by our Managing Director Phil Tate.

Our Health & Safety Policy sets out a very proactive approach, to ensure that all our staff, operatives, other contractors, clients and members of the general public are allowed to go around their daily lives and business, in a safe manner.

The Health & Safety Policy is issued to all of our employees, so that they fully understand, acknowledge, recognise and comply with our obligations.

We are accredited members of the following construction industry recognised Health & Safety schemes, CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) Safecontractor and Constructionline schemes.

All our Managers hold the IOSH 5 day Managing Safely qualification, this provides them with the knowledge and tools to tackle the Health & Safety they are responsible in;

    • Assessing risks
    • Controlling risks
    • Understanding your responsibilities
    • Identifying hazards
    • Investigating accidents and incidents
    • Measuring performance
    • Protecting our environment

Our operatives hold CSCS cards which demonstrates that they have the skills and knowledge needed to work safely, they also have undertaken asbestos awareness training.

We employ Fullerton Safety as our Health & Safety advisors, they are fully NEBOSH (Construction and Occupational) qualified Health & Safety Consultants, who advise and direct on all aspects of Health & Safety and provide ongoing training to all group employees.
